The Mirror Principle
The system, or team, you are part of is shaped by more than structure and process. Over time, it reflects what is consistently modeled within it. This leadership team performance DUMB™ Lab workshop helps you understand how your standards, direction, and behavior define what becomes normal across your team.
Expanding Your Standard to Elevate Performance
In many cases, the system does not lack capability. It lacks a standard that holds without your involvement. When performance begins to slip in a team or initiative, the natural response is to step in and tighten things up. More structure, reminders, and involvement follow. At first, this keeps things moving. However, over time, the system begins to depend on your continued presence instead of sustaining performance on its own.
Leaders Will
- Identify where performance depends on involvement versus where the system holds itself
- Define a direction that extends beyond the current performance level of the system
- Recognize how modeled standards shape engagement, ownership, and outcomes within the system
- Apply goal-setting in a way that supports growth rather than maintaining current performance
What This Workshop Is
This workshop helps leaders examine how they create performance within the environment and where it depends on their involvement. Participants shift from carrying performance to designing systems that sustain it. In practice, teams begin to hold a higher standard without constant intervention.
Who This Workshop Is For
- Those who feel responsible for keeping performance on track
- Those noticing that when they step back, performance begins to drift
- Those looking to build systems that sustain engagement, ownership, and results
The Leadership Cohorts
Individual Cohorts: For the practitioner or leader navigating internal friction. These scheduled cohorts provide a contained environment to audit the belief structures and “snap-back” effects that stall execution. These sessions are limited to those ready to move past surface-level tools and into a practice of systemic coherence.
Organizational Cohorts: For executive teams and leadership layers requiring stabilization. We offer the DUMB™ Labs as an intensive diagnostic to identify where strategic intent and operational reality have drifted apart. This is a move away from managed pressure and toward a shared sense of direction.
